    5 Advantages Of Electric Motorcycles

If you like riding a motorcycle, both electric-powered and gas-powered bikes are great to drive, and they are the most widely used form of alternative transportation worldwide. Electric bikes are easier to commute in, because they do not get hot and uncomfortable like gasoline-powered bikes. As a general rule, most riders like riding high-horsepower motorcycles, regardless if they are powered by gas or electric. One myth surrounding electric motorbikes is that they are more expensive than their gas-powered counterparts.

Gas motorbikes are cheaper than this. Gas is abundant, easily available, and cheaper than electric bike electric costs. Unlike their electric counterparts, gas motorcycles are more sought after, making it easier to find a customer. Gas motorcycles also have higher resale values, and well-maintained ones can fetch good prices.

An electric motorcycle has a drivetrain that is exceptionally simple to maintain, so you will spend less time in your garage and more time out on the road. Because an electric motorcycle is so easy to maintain, with only one moving part, you also save money on maintenance, repairs, and repairs.

While a big downside to an electric motorcycle is its higher purchase price, over time, you will actually save quite a bit depending on the source and costs of electricity. While the price of the motorcycle itself may be similar to, or even sometimes higher than, its gasoline-powered counterpart, the cost of running an electric motorcycle is much lower. Yes, an electric motorcycle may initially cost more than its gas-powered counterpart, but you will realize amazing savings over the long haul.

Running errands is cheaper, easier, and faster with an electric bike compared to using a motorbike or a car. With an electric car, be it a car or EV, you are drastically cutting down your emissions if you are planning to ride one for your commute.

If an electric bikes batteries die while you are out on the road, you can still drive it like a regular bicycle. It does not release any harmful emissions into the atmosphere, as it runs on electricity instead of liquid fuel. Basically, the e-bike is greener, can help you save time and money, is a lot easier to maintain, is good for urban driving, and is as powerful as the regular bike.

Instead, an electric scooter or motorcycle is powered exclusively by rechargeable batteries and an electric motor. It also does not have a transmission or clutch, which is usually the most expensive component to replace in a motorbike. As a result, regardless of how many cubic centimeters of capacity the cc of the gas-powered motorcycle has, it just cannot compete with the instant torque provided by the e-motorcycle.

Gas bikes this size simply cannot match the torque and horsepower produced by an electric engine. Electric motors can achieve their peak horsepower and torque instantaneously, right at 0 RPM. Electric engines also keep their power and torque steadier throughout their RPM range.

With 100% instant torque, you will experience rapid acceleration, something a power-fueled motorcycle cannot compete with. An e-bike provides a thrilling ride: The motor produces instant torque, so you get to cruising speeds quicker than on a traditional motorcycle. Most electric motorcycles are not really fast, but depending on the output characteristics of electric motors, the output torque on an electric motorcycle is really high, coming in at the blink of an eye, which is pretty powerful. The main benefit of the electric motorcycle compared to a normal one is, obviously, the electric motor, which helps with the pedaling, making the bike easier to ride.

Some electric bicycle batteries can even be charged from renewable energy sources, like your homes solar energy system. Production methods are improving, batteries are becoming recyclable, and there are a number of sources of renewable energy, including charging the bike from home solar energy.

Unfortunately, the non-maintenance-intensive battery packs are not lasting very long. As battery technology improves, an electric motorbike will be more durable when charged than a gas bike with a full tank.

Ultimately, gas motorcycles are just having an increasingly difficult time competing with the electrics. Make no mistake: Gas bikes are faster, they have better suspension, and they are certainly capable of longer-range trips.

Some people say it takes more resources to make an electric car, while others point out the fact that it uses power from a dirty, non-renewable source. Simply put, an electric scooter or motorbike is powered by electricity rather than gasoline. A battery-powered scooter is a good way to reduce your individual contribution to CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

By using our EV, you are already saving 68% on fuel costs!Imagine taking your brand-new 30A kilometers journey with an electric motorbike from the village market of Gigiri to an SGR station in Nairobi, and you are saving as much as $0.51. It costs about $2.00 to charge up your motorbike with the electrical energy to drive for 100 miles; this is $8.75 for a regular internal combustion engine (ICE) motorbike that uses about $3.50/gallon of gas for 40 miles of range.

While ICE engines take time to build peak horsepower and torque, requiring the motor to rev to a higher RPM, EVs instantly build peak horsepower and torque at 0 RPM. They will still find their own ways, but getting inner-city youth onto smaller, more affordable EVs may just be what revives the entire motorcycling industry.

DON’T GET SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!

Many companies ask for a deposit to lock you in, making it difficult to get a refund if they don’t pick up your car on time—or at all. If your car isn't picked up, they may delay the process until it’s nearly impossible to get your money back.
We often hear from customers who are left stranded by other companies that never show up, leaving them stuck with charges that their credit card company won’t reverse. As a result, they lose their deposits. We don’t require a deposit and won’t charge your card until the day we pick up your car.
